SUPPORTED FORMATS

Every extension Karuzip reads on Windows

Karuzip registers 320 extensions behind one archive workflow. This page does not pretend all 320 have the same evidence level. Instead it groups them into three support tiers, then points English readers to the current pages that already exist.

Karuzip runs on Windows 10 and 11Open this page on a Windows PC to download it.

Supported archive and package formats on Windows

Karuzip registers 320 extensions behind one archive workflow.

“320 formats” means 320 registered extensions that Karuzip can route into an archive workflow. It does not mean every one of those formats has identical evidence, identical creation support, or identical English documentation. RAR remains extract only.

18 formats shown.

Verified on real hardware 6 formats

These workflows were checked on a real Windows machine, not only inferred from format specs.

Tested 6 formats

These formats were checked with sample archives or targeted extraction tests, but not every one has an English page yet.

Registered / extract-only 6 formats

These formats are routed to the bundled engine, but not every one has equal evidence or equal write support.

Current English SEO entry points

The current English site already owns the highest-intent Windows tasks. This is where the format pages connect back into the rest of the site.

Need the Windows workflow, not just the extension list?

Use the English task pages when the search intent is “open”, “extract”, “password”, “batch”, or “split”. Use the Japanese format corpus when you need a deeper long-tail format article that has not been translated yet.

After the format, choose the operation you actually need

Investigating an error, checking filenames, extracting one entry, and creating a different archive are different tasks. Start with the matching guide: ZIP encryption and filename encoding, 7z/RAR volume sets, or ISO inspection versus mounting.

Of 320 extraction extensions, 230 have operation evidence and 12 have real-machine verification. Container aliases are distinguished from independently tested formats. Creation is limited to ZIP, 7z, TAR, GZIP, BZIP2, XZ, and WIM.

The direct installer also offers CLI inspection, listing, integrity checking, extraction, selected extraction, and compression. An agent needs an explicit input, output location, and instruction to preserve originals—not just a format name.

Start with the CLI reference, then follow the actual local-command workflow for Codex, Claude Code, or DeepSeek Harness.
